Privacy policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Marisol Smith Irazábal, who operates IAzabal (iazabal.cl) from Chile.
This policy applies to this website. Data processed within a project with a client is governed by the corresponding contract.
What data I collect
When you fill in the contact form: name, work email, company and country, company size and the text you write about your processes. Only name, email and company are required.
If you email me or book a meeting, I receive the data you share in that message or in the calendar.
When you visit the site, the infrastructure provider may log technical data such as your IP address, browser type and access date, for security and operation. I do not use analytics or advertising tools, and I do not set cookies for those purposes.
What I use it for
To answer your assessment request and contact you about it, and to prepare and, where appropriate, propose a collaboration.
Also to meet legal obligations and protect the site from abuse or spam.
I do not sell your data or use it to send you advertising you did not ask for.
Legal basis
I process your data with your consent, which you give by submitting the form, and to respond to your request before a possible contractual relationship. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Who I share it with
I do not sell or transfer your data. I share it only with providers that let me run the site and serve you, and that process it on my behalf: for example, hosting and network (Cloudflare), form handling, email and scheduling.
Some of these providers are outside Chile, so your data may be transferred to other countries, such as the United States. I try to choose providers that apply adequate security measures.
I could also disclose it if a competent authority requires it by law.
How long I keep it
I keep your data while our conversation lasts and for up to 24 months after the last contact. If we start a contractual relationship, I keep it for as long as the contract and the law require. You can ask me to delete it earlier.
Your rights
Under Law No. 19,628 on the protection of private life and Law No. 21,719 on the protection and processing of personal data, as it comes into force, you can access your data, rectify it, delete it, object to its processing, request its temporary blocking and ask for its portability.
To exercise these rights, write to me at the address at the end. I will respond within the legal deadlines.
If you believe your rights were not respected, you can complain to the competent authority: the Personal Data Protection Agency (Agencia de Protección de Datos Personales), once it is operating.
Security
I apply reasonable measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to information. No system is infallible; if an incident affects your data, I will act as the law requires.
Minors
This site is aimed at companies and professionals. I do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
